Learn how to use templates, attachments, and scheduling when sending messages from MRI Vault.

Send an email
You can send a personalised or templated email directly from a contact card. This feature supports attachments, calendar events, and merge fields for property-related content.
- Go to: A contact record
- Click the Send Email tab
- Configure the email details:
- Use AI to write your email - Toggle ON - Ask AI to help write your email
- Context - Choose a property if using property-related merge fields
- Cc/Bcc - Select users or enter email addresses manually
- From - Choose the sender (responses will go to this address)
- Template - Select a saved email template, including Designly templates
- Subject - Enter your email subject line
- Include attachments/links - Upload files or select from eMarketing Storage, property eTables, or filing cabinets (contacts and property)
- Embed cloud letters - Select an existing cloud letter document
- Include a calendar event - Link an existing calendar event if using related merge fields
- Click Preview Email to review the message, including the signature
- Once ready, click Send Email.
Send an SMS
MRI Vault supports sending SMS/TXT messages directly from a contact card. You can use templates, schedule messages, and track replies.
- Go to: A contact record
- Click the Send SMS tab
- Configure the SMS details:

Send From - Choose the sender. Replies vary by region (AU/NZ)
- Australia - Replies go to the sender’s contact number
- New Zealand - Replies appear in the SMS/TXT Replies widget
- Send To - Select one or more contact numbers
- Sending - Choose to send immediately or schedule for later
- Saved Templates - Use or manage existing SMS templates
- Message - Write a new message or edit a selected template
- Select the Fee checkbox to agree to the charge
- Review the SMS
- Click Send
The message will be sent or added to the sending queue if scheduled. You can cancel the message from this area or through the eMarketing SMS/TXT communicator.
Track sent messages and view activity
MRI Vault automatically logs sent emails and SMS messages in the contact’s notes. You can also view message activity and manage pending messages.
To track and manage messages:
- Email Activity - View emails via the campaigns section in a contact's profile

Pending SMS - In the contact profile:
- Go to: Other > Pending SMS or
- Use the navigation menu: eMarketing > SMS/TXT Communicator > View Pending
- Cancel Pending SMS - Use the Remove button to cancel queued messages
- SMS Usage Reports: Go to: Reports > SMS/TXT Usage to track all sent messages.
