About the appraisal wizard
The appraisal wizard is a user-friendly tool that helps you quickly add appraisals and prospects to your database. It also supports integrations for property data and calendar scheduling.
Add an appraisal or prospect
To add a property appraisal or prospect:
- Go to: Properties > Appraisal Wizard
- Enter owner details
- Add the prospective owner’s details
- The system checks for duplicate contacts automatically
- If a match exists, attach the existing contact instead of creating a new one
- If no match is found, enter the owner’s name, email, and phone number
- Search for property data (Optional) - If you have integrations with Cotality, National Property Data, or Pricefinder, pull property details directly into the property card.
Tip: This includes property class, address, and other particulars.
- Enter property details - Add property type (Sale or Lease), address, and appraisal details
- Assign the user conducting the appraisal and set the date and time. The appointment is automatically added to the user’s calendar
- Set follow-up reminders - tick the email or SMS reminder option, then select the sender and template
- Enter the Pipeline - Expected Opportunity (Optional) details

Set access permissions - Choose Everyone for open databases, or select individual staff for restricted access
- Click Add Appraisal to save the appraisal or prospect
Note: Duplicate property checks run automatically. You can update an existing property card instead of creating a new one.
