About attaching properties
Instead of creating duplicate contacts, you can attach properties to existing contacts or owners. This ensures accurate records and improves efficiency.
Attach a property
To add a property to an existing contact:
- Go to: A contact profile
- Click Options and choose Attach Property
- Complete the Appraisal Wizard
- The owner's details will prefill from the contact card
- Enter property details such as type, address, and appraisal information (if applicable).

Set access permissions - Choose Everyone for open databases, or select individual staff for restricted access
Notes:
- For open databases, select Everyone
- For closed databases, choose specific staff members for View/Read and Edit access
- Click Add Appraisal to attach it to the contact
Note: As you enter the address, the system checks for duplicate properties. If a match is found, you can attach the existing property via the Owner tab instead of creating a duplicate.
If you have Cotality or Pricefinder integration enabled, you can pull property data directly into the property card. This includes property type, address, and other details.
