About the National Property Data integration
MRI Vault integrates directly with National Property Data (NPD). This integration helps you auto-fill property details, link properties, and access NPD reports and maps.
Note: You must have an active National Property Data account. Integration is set up per user and applies only to the logged-in user.
Set up the integration
Follow these steps to connect MRI Vault with NPD:
- Go to: My Integrations > National Property Data
- Click Connect and follow the prompts
- Once connected, the integration status will show Active
Tip: Your NPD username remains visible after connection for troubleshooting purposes.
Auto-fill property details
When adding a listing or appraisal:
- In the form, locate the National Property Data Search box
- Search for the property address
- Select the address and click Continue to pre-fill data from NPD
- Review the populated fields and click Save/Update
Link existing properties to NPD
You can link an existing property in MRI Vault to NPD:
- Go to: The property profile
- Use the National Property Data Search field to find the property
- Select the property to link it to NPD
Note: If linked incorrectly, click Unlink to remove the connection.
Generate reports and save to the filing cabinet
To access NPD reports:
- Go to: The property profile
- Click View in the National Property Data Search box on a linked property, or go to Other > National Property Data from the property card
- Choose a report type:
- Property Profile - Owner information and property details
- Map Location - View property on NPD map

Other Reports - Access additional NPD reports
Note: If Current Market Information (CMI) data is unavailable, CMI reports will be disabled.
Tip: Report PDFs are saved automatically in the property’s filing cabinet.
Use NPD data in prospecting
You can source NPD data via the prospecting tool:
- Go to: Properties > Prospecting
- Draw a polygon or circle on the map
- Use the Area Search Filter to refine results or click Search
- View property pins and icons for more details and direct NPD links
