About FastConnect
FastConnect is one of New Zealand’s leading utility connection platforms. It helps your clients compare and connect electricity, gas, and broadband services for their new or existing home.
Note: The integration is designed for New Zealand offices and clients.
How the integration works
The integration makes it easy to send utility connection leads for purchasers or successful tenants.
When you update a listing to Under Offer, Sold, or Let, tick the box to send the lead to FastConnect.
Note: If you don’t have a FastConnect account, the FastConnect team will contact you after your first lead is sent to set up your account and claim your commission.
Set up the FastConnect integration
To enable the integration:
- Go to: Office Integrations > FastConnect
- Tick the Enable checkbox
- (Option) Tick the Opt-in checkbox and click Save/Update
Notes:
- You don’t need to create a separate account. Office details are sent to FastConnect during the unconditional or lease process
- Opting in automatically includes all clients in the process
- If you tick Opt-in all tenants/purchasers being sent to FastConnect, every purchaser or tenant linked to a property marked as Unconditional or Leased will be automatically included in the FastConnect lead submission. This eliminates the need to manually select individual checkboxes later.
Send purchaser or tenant details to FastConnect
Once the integration is enabled, send client details when marking a property as unconditional or leased:
- Go to: A property profile that is Unconditional or a current available management
- When setting the property as Unconditional or Leased, you’ll see the FastConnect option appear
- Tick the purchaser(s) or tenant(s) checkbox(es) to send their details to FastConnect
Tip: Ensure purchaser or tenant details are accurate before sending.
- If the settlement date changes, the update is sent to FastConnect as well.
Notes:
- Checkboxes are pre-ticked only if you opted in during setup
- If you don’t see FastConnect, no purchaser or tenant is attached to the property
- Multiple purchasers or tenants will display multiple checkboxes for selection
- The property Activity stream records when details are sent or updated
