Understand the pipeline board
The Pipeline board helps you visualise and manage your prospects and appraisals in MRI Vault CRM. You can switch between forecast views, update pipeline details, and collaborate with your team.
Access the pipeline board
- Go to: Prospecting > Pipeline
The board will display pipelines based on their temperature forecast: Unassessed, Cold, Warm, or Hot.
- Use the drop-down to switch between:
- Temperature Forecast

Timeline Forecast (Sales or Lease)
Interact with pipelines
- In Temperature Forecast, drag and drop pipelines between silos to update their temperature
- In Timeline Forecast, drag pipelines to a month silo to set the expected list date. Unassessed pipelines default to the 1st of the selected month
View pipeline details
- Click a pipeline tile to open its details.
You'll see:
- Property and owner(s)
- Pipeline information
- The last five notes recorded against each owner
From here, you can:
- Click the property address to open the property card
- Click the owner's name to open their contact card
- Update pipeline details
- Record notes against the owner
If a property has multiple owners, when adding a note:
- Click Add Note
- Type the owner's name in the search box and select it
- The owner's information will appear to be checked or updated
- Select the type of note
- Enter a calendar reminder date
- (Optional) Select the agent
- Toggle the visibility - Ticked for everyone and unticked to select agents
- Click Save
Quick actions
You can also use quick actions directly from the pipeline tile to:
- Add a contact note
- View the property or contact
- Withdraw or remove the appraisal/prospect
- Hover your mouse cursor over a pipeline tile
- Click the menu (three vertical dots) to the right of the property address
Switch pipeline views and apply filters
You can toggle between different pipeline views and apply filters to focus on specific opportunities.
Change the view
- Go to: Prospecting > Pipeline
- Use the drop-down to switch between:
- Temperature Forecast

Timeline Forecast (Sales or Lease)
Apply date filters
- Click the date drop-down menu
- Filter pipelines by:
- Expected listing date
- Sale date
- Authority date
View other users' pipelines
Depending on your access level, you can view pipelines assigned to other users. You need one of the following:
- Users with global Read Only for properties ticked will see the complete list of staff in the drop-down
- PA users will see agents or users they are PA to, and/or all staff, if they have global Read Only access for properties ticked.
To view other users' pipelines
- Go to: Prospecting > Pipeline
- Click your profile icon
- Tick the checkbox next to the user(s) whose pipelines you want to view
- Click Save
