About photo rotation
Photo rotation automatically updates the order of property images in MRI Vault and on selected portals. This helps maintain visual interest and keeps listings looking fresh.
Set up a photo rotation trigger
Before applying photo rotation to a listing, you need to configure an automation trigger. This is a one-time setup.
Note: You must be a system administrator to create triggers.
- Go to: Settings > Automation > Triggers
- Under Office Triggers, click Add New Trigger
- Select Date Based Type for additional options
- Choose one or both trigger types:
- X Days After Web Live Date (Sales)
- X Days After Web Live Date (Lease)
- Enter the number of days for rotation - Example: Rotate photos 14 days after the web live date for a sale property
- Click Save
Apply photo rotation to a listing
Once the trigger is active, enable photo rotation for individual listings.
- Go to: A property profile
- Click the Photos tab
- Upload your images and arrange them in the desired order
- Click Photo Rotation
- Tick Enable Photo Rotation
- Select the images to include in the rotation
Note: The first image (main photo) is always included and cannot be deselected.
- Click Save
Photos will rotate automatically based on the trigger settings (e.g., every 14 days).
What's next?
Rotation activity is logged in the property’s activity stream and can also be viewed in the Activity: Triggers widget on your dashboard.
