About property life cycles
Each property in MRI Vault has two identifiers:
- Residential PropertyID - Stays constant throughout the property’s lifetime
- LifeID - Changes whenever the property is Withdrawn or Settled, marking a new lifecycle
LifeIDs help keep your database tidy and organised, making it easier to access historical data.
View previous property data
When a property starts a new lifecycle, some sections reset. Here’s how to access past data:
History
- Go to: The property profile
- Click the Other tab > History
- Select the previous LifeID to view past sales history
- Click More for detailed sales information
Note: Sales details are locked after settlement. To edit, use Reverse on the current lifecycle to revert to Unconditional, make changes, then resettle.
