About changing property classification
Property classifications (Business, Commercial, Residential, Land, etc.) help organise your database. If a property was added with the wrong classification, you can update it easily, provided certain conditions are met.
Conditions before you begin
To change a property’s classification, ensure:
- The property status is Not Currently Listed
- The property has been in this status for more than 24 hours.
Note: If these conditions aren’t met, the option to change
classification will not be available.
Change property classification
- Go to: The property profile with the status Not Currently Listed
- Click the Options icon in the top-left corner
- From the dropdown, choose Change Property Classification
- Select the correct property classification and type from the list
- Click Change Classification to apply the update
After the change, check the updated classification under Particulars in the property record.
