About the Property Tree integration
Use the Property Tree integration to automatically sync property and contact data directly into MRI Vault for residential and commercial use cases. This article covers activation, what data syncs, how contact ownership and duplicates are handled, how to push new managements from MRI Vault to Property Tree, and how to deactivate the integration.
Who can do this: Property Tree administrators (to activate/deactivate in Partner Gateway) and MRI Vault users with permission to coordinate integration setup.
Before you begin (prerequisites)
Confirm you have the proper access and information before you start.
- Property Tree admin access to Configuration > Integrations > Partner Gateway
- A Vault account and permission to request/support integration setup
- Support channel details to complete the configuration in MRI Vault
Activate the integration in Property Tree (Partner Gateway)
Follow these steps in Property Tree to enable Vault integration.
- Go to: Configuration > Integrations > Partner Gateway
- Find Vault and click Activate
- Tick the checkbox to accept the Legal Terms and confirm

What data syncs between Property Tree and MRI Vault
Understand the types of data exchanged and how they appear.
Properties & vacancies
Sync property-level information to support marketing and management workflows.
- Property information (address, attributes, etc.)
- Vacancies (where applicable)
Tenancy details
Surface essential lease details to keep pricing and timelines aligned.
- Lease start date
- Rent amount
Advertised rent
Sync the listing price displayed across marketing contexts.
- Residential - Advertised rent amount
- Commercial - Lease price per annum
Key IDs
Keep keys mapped to properties to streamline office operations.
- Key identifiers linked to the property
Landlords & Tenants (contact fields)
Bring owner/tenant details into MRI Vault for communication and categorisation.
- Title/Salutation, First Name, Last Name
- Address (Unit, Street No., Street [Address Line 1], Suburb, Country, State, Postcode) - supports local/overseas
Email address, Mobile phone, Telephone - Excluded - “No Marketing” (treated as unsubscribe from email/SMS/letters)
Note: Sync of Landlords and/or Tenants is not enabled by default. Ask MRI Vault Support to enable it and specify the Category and Contact Owner (we recommend a “Team” owner).
Tip: Keep a consistent Category naming convention (e.g., “Landlords”, “Tenants”) to simplify reporting and segmentation.
Control how Landlords and Tenants are handled
How MRI Vault handles new/duplicate contacts, and how it handles deletions from Property Tree.
- Duplicate handling (on ingest from Property Tree)
- Use MRI Vault’s duplicate check tool if you want to merge newly ingested Property Tree owners/tenants
- MRI Vault intentionally does not auto‑match by the same name to avoid cross‑department collisions (e.g., a closed PM database vs. Sales database)
- If an Ownership record is deleted in Property Tree
- MRI Vault removes the contact from the “Landlords” or “Tenants” Category (assuming the contact isn’t in other active Property Tree ownerships)
- MRI Vault disassociates related contacts from the rental property
- MRI Vault does not delete the contact record itself (the person might be used elsewhere, e.g., they attended an open home and are used by Sales)
