You can record multiple offers for a property and choose them during the sale process.
Contents:
Add a new offer
- Go to: An example listing
- Click on the Offers button next to the status of the property
- The offer details screen will appear > Click on Add New Offer
You can add the offer by entering the buyer's contact information and offer details.
- Once populated, click on Add Offer
If an existing contact is found, the system will flag it as a duplicate, allowing you to open the Check Duplicate screen to use the existing contact against the added offer.
Once the offer has been added, you can view the offer details
You then have the following options within the offer:
- Click on the status, for example, Pending
- Update the status by clicking on the offer drop-down menu. This can be updated to either Rejected or Withdrawn
- Click Save
Update the offer details
- In the property profile, click Offers
- Click Edit to update the offer details
Advise the owner or buyer
- In the property profile, click Offers
- Click Advise...
- Advise the owner or buyer of the offer by emailing (using an email template) or generating a letter to the owner(s) or buyer(s)
- Open the contact card for the buyer attached to the offer (Go To [Contact])
Manage offer lifecycle from acceptance to rejection
If an offer has been accepted, we provide the option to select the offer when setting the property as Under Offer in the sales details. This then populates the offer information against the sale and automatically attaches the offer contact as the purchaser.
All offers will be populated in the Owner Feedback Report under the View Offers section, as shown below.
Should the property be withdrawn and have pending offers attached, the system will automatically convert all pending offers to rejected as below.
- The property currently has a Pending offer attached
- We have then withdrawn the property, which will flag if you currently have pending offers and advise that the system will automatically reject these offers once withdrawn
- Once withdrawn, it will then confirm that the offers on the property have now been set as rejected
