Assign categories to a property
Use this process to apply categories to individual properties.
- Go to: A property card
- Select the Other Tab
- Click Property Categories (Projects)
A list of category groups and available categories will appear.
- Tick the categories you want to apply
Note: You can add new category groups or categories at any time.
- Click Update Categories to save your changes.
You can bulk assign property categories (projects) using the filter properties tool.
Use property categories
Property categories are used throughout MRI Vault to filter, report on, and search for properties.
- Filter Properties tool - Use categories to filter properties and perform bulk actions.
- Find property tool - Quickly locate properties by category.
- Report Writer - Include property categories in your custom reports.
- Date Range Commission report - Filter commission reports by property category.
