Before you begin
MRI Vault integrates with Homepass to help agencies manage property inspections, attendee check-ins, and feedback more efficiently.
To activate the Homepass integration:
- Contact MRI Vault support
Once approved, the Vault provisioning team will set up the property feed
Set up the Homepass integration
- MRI Vault sends a standard REAXML property feed to Homepass every 60 seconds. The Vault Provisioning Team is responsible for setting this up
- After setup, Homepass will email you your Homepass Office ID (Key)
- In MRI Vault, go to Office Integrations > Homepass
- Enter your Homepass Office ID in the API Key field
- Select your Default Note Type
- Click Save/Update to complete the integration.
Check in contacts via the Homepass app
What happens when you check in attendees:
Attendee data from Homepass is automatically synced to MRI Vault’s Homepass Holding Area, where you can manage contacts before adding them to your database.
- Use the Homepass app to check in attendees at your open homes
MRI Vault updates the Homepass Holding Area every 60 seconds.
- Go to: Contacts > Homepass Holding Area
- For each attendee, choose:
- Ignore - Skip adding the contact
- View/Add - Review and edit contact details before adding
- When you select View/Add, you can:
- Edit name
- Contact info
- Categories
- Marketing preferences
- Access settings
- Add requirements
- Click Add Enquiry to save the contact
This also adds a note from Homepass to the owner feedback report.
How MRI Vault handles Homepass data
MRI Vault intelligently replaces initial check-in events with feedback updates, so you won’t see duplicate entries for the same attendee.
Key points:
- Homepass updates MRI Vault every 4 minutes
- Duplicate contact checks are handled in VaultRE, not Homepass
- Contacts appear in the owner feedback report under your selected default note type.
