Learn how to use the MRI Vault mobile app to view contact details, link properties, add notes, and streamline communication while on the go.

View contact details
Quickly access everything you need to know about a contact in one place.
- Tap Contacts (bottom left)
- Open a contact
What you’ll see:
- Categories - View and manage the categories the contact belongs to
- Contact info - See phone numbers and email addresses. Tap to call, message, or email directly
- Linked properties - View and manage properties linked to the contact
- Requirements - Add, edit, or delete buy/rent requirements
- Files - Access uploaded files, preview them, or share with other contacts

Notes - View or add notes, including property check-ins
To communicate with a contact:
- Tap the message icon to send a text or use Bulk Communicator
- Tap the phone icon to call directly
- Tap the email icon to send an email or use Bulk Communicator
After each interaction, you’ll be prompted to add a note to record the conversation
Add a note to a contact
Keep track of conversations and reminders by adding notes to your contacts.
- Open the contact you want to add a note to
- Scroll to the Notes section
- Tap Add Note in the top right corner
- Enter your note details, set a reminder (optional), and choose a note type
- Tap Save to attach the note to the contact
Add a new contact
Create new contacts quickly and assign relevant access and marketing settings.
- Go to the Contacts menu
- Tap + ADD CONTACT in the bottom right corner
- Choose the contact type from the dropdown
- Fill in the required contact details, marketing contact(s), and access settings
If the contact has indicated that they want to be included or excluded from certain communications, additional options are available:
- Archive - Exclude from search - Toggle this on to exclude from searches
- Unsubscribe SMS - Toggle this on to exclude from bulk SMSs
- Unsubscribe email - Toggle this on to exclude from bulk emails
- Unsubscribe letters/export - Toggle this on to exclude contacts from letters, which can then be used in Filter Contacts to remove them from search results via the unsub letters field

Do not call - Toggle this on to indicate that the contact either does not want phone calls or has added their number to the Do Not Call Register
- Tap Save to add the contact
These toggles can be changed at any time.
Filter your contacts
Use filters to quickly find specific contacts or create targeted communication lists.
Vault’s contact filtering options help you narrow down your contact list using advanced criteria or existing distribution lists. Once filtered, you can take bulk actions, such as sending messages or creating call lists.
- Go to the Contacts menu
- Tap Filter in the top right corner
- Choose one of the following options:
- Advanced filter - Filter contacts using fields such as name, category, contact type, and more

Distribution list - Filter contacts based on an existing distribution list
After applying a filter, you can:
- Create a Call List
- Send a Bulk SMS
- Send a Bulk Email
