About the Rello integration
MRI Vault integrates with RelloPay to offer flexible vendor payment options, including Pay Now and Pay Later workflows. This integration streamlines advertising cost payments and links directly to your trust accounts for accurate financial tracking.
Register for a RelloPay merchant account
Before using RelloPay, you’ll need to register your agency as a merchant.
To begin using RelloPay in Vault CRM:
- Go to Office Integrations > RelloPay
- Click Register for a RelloPay Merchant Account
The registration screen will auto-fill your user details.
- Confirm the details and click Register
You’ll receive an onboarding email from Rello with a link to complete your account setup.
Once verified, your connection details will appear in MRI Vault.
Link Vault trust accounts to RelloPay
After registration, link your Vault trust accounts to RelloPay to enable payment workflows.
Once approved as a RelloPay merchant:
- Go to: Office Integrations > RelloPay
- Select the Rello account to link with your Vault sales trust account
- Click Save/Update
Only linked trust accounts will be available when requesting funds.
If a trust account isn’t linked, Vault will display an error during payment requests.
Request payment using Rello (no sales trust)
Use this workflow when no sales trust account is involved.
- Go to: A property card
- Click Financials > Advertising tab
- Create a vendor invoice in the property’s Advertising Ledger
- Click Request Payment using Rello
- On the payment request screen, choose a VPA amount or an existing invoice. Select the vendor to auto-fill their details
- Click Send to Rello
- Vault will prompt you to attach the contract (usually stored in the Filing Cabinet, as per the REI For Live/Realworks integration)
- Click Send Contract
- Select the contract
- Click Send Contract to Rello
The vendor receives an email with options to Pay Now or Pay Later
Once payment is made:
- A credit is added to the advertising ledger
- The advertising invoice is marked as paid
Request payment using Rello (sales trust used)
Use this workflow when a sales trust account is involved.
- Go to: A property card
- Click Financials > Advertising tab
- Create a vendor invoice in the property’s Advertising Ledger
- Click Request Payment using Rello
- Choose an existing invoice and vendor details
- Click Send to Rello
- Vault will prompt you to attach the contract (usually stored in the Filing Cabinet, as per the REI For Live/Realworks integration)
- Click Send Contract
- Select the contract
- Click Send Contract to Rello
The vendor receives an email with Pay Now or Pay Later options.
Once payment is made:
- A credit is added to the advertising ledger and linked to the invoice
- A credit is added to the Trust Ledger and linked to the invoice
When the property is Unconditional and the deposit is receipted:
- The VPA loan amount is repaid at settlement
- The service fee is charged as an expense
- Use the Payout Wizard or manual payment to settle funds
Vault updates the trust ledger to a zero balance.
Request payment using Rello (pay now, no sales trust)
This scenario is similar to the pay later (no sales trust) workflow, but involves immediate payment.
Follow the same steps as the pay later (no sales trust) scenario, but the vendor selects Pay Now during the payment process.
