We offer the option to add a scheduled appraisal directly through your calendar. These scheduled appraisals can then be managed seamlessly within Vault and the Vault app.

Add an appraisal event
- Go to: Calendar
This will populate your calendar and any existing events, appraisals and property scheduled viewings.
- Click on the desired date tile
- The Add Event screen will appear, where you can select and add the following details:
- Calendar - If you have Global Calendar access or Settings (Module Access) ticked in your User Management, you can add a calendar event in any user's calendar. Otherwise, this will default to you
- Type - This will default to Event. Click the Type drop-down menu and select Appraisal
- Duration - Apply the date and time of the event
- Property - Search your database for an existing property or add a new property for the appraisal
Note: You can only search and attach a property that is in Prospect/Not Currently Listed or Appraisal status
- Source - Select an item from the drop-down menu
- Notes - Add the event notes or description of the event
- Contact - Search your database for contact(s) to attach to the event
- Reminders - Tick the checkbox if you want to set a reminder
- View/Read Access & Edit Access - Set the access settings for both View/Read and Edit for the appraisal
- Edit Access - This can be ticked for Everyone; otherwise, you can select individual staff members or teams to have access to edit the scheduled appraisal

Status - Check the confirmed box if the appraisal has been confirmed with the owner
- Once all the necessary appraisal details have been added, select the owner scheduled in the appraisal from the right-hand side
- You can send an email or SMS template to the owner or undo (If the incorrect owner is selected)
- Once you have added all the required event details, click Add Appraisal
A pop-up will appear confirming the appraisal has been processed with options to go to the property, contact, or close.
- Click Close or select one of the options to navigate to one of those profiles
The calendar will refresh, showing the newly created appraisal event.

Appraisal status updates
Once you add the scheduled appraisal, the selected property automatically updates its status to Appraisal, and the appraisal date is also refreshed.
- Go to: The property card
- Scroll down to the Appraisal Details section
You also have the option to manage and view your appraisal events directly within the Vault app.
