About the withdrawn status
Withdrawn status is used when a client decides not to proceed with selling their property.
It removes the property from all connected online portals and returns the property to a non‑active state.
Using Withdrawn status helps ensure listing records remain accurate, prevents properties from appearing live when they are no longer available, and maintains a clear lifecycle history for compliance and reporting.
Withdraw a listing
To update the listing status:
- Go to: The property profile
- Click Withdrawn
- In the pop-up window, select a reason from one of the available options
- (Optional) Add comments - Enter a short note in Comments/Explanation to capture context for audit/history
- Click Yes/Continue to complete the withdrawal
- The system will confirm that the property is now Not Currently Listed. Return to the property profile
Once confirmed, the system updates the property to Prospect/Not currently listed.
Manage listing after withdrawal
After a property is withdrawn:
- The property status reverts to Prospect/Not currently listed
- Connected online portals are updated to remove the listing
- The withdrawal action cannot be reversed (unlike a settlement)
- The Withdrawn action isn’t reversible, but if a property is withdrawn by mistake, you can update the property status to 'Listing' to re‑list it as active and configure the visibility section to push it to portals
View listing history and activity
You can review past listing details and actions directly from the property profile.
To view past lifecycle history:
- Go to Other tab > History
This includes details such as Lifecycle ID, Owner(s), Withdrawn status, Listed date, and previous List Price.
For a detailed log of the withdrawal action, check the Activity tab. It records all property updates, including withdrawal details.
