Once all conditions on the sale of a property have been met and are satisfied, the property becomes unconditional, and therefore, its status in the database must be amended. The video below will explore setting the property from conditional (under offer) to unconditional status.
Contents:
Step by step
1. Navigate to the property card of your conditional (under offer) property
2. Click on Unconditional next to the property status
3. The system will ask you to reconfirm that you wish to make this property unconditional. You will also have the following options to select before setting the property as unconditional:
- Portal Visibility - Set as Sold status or Keep as Under Offer status (This will determine how you would like the property to display on portals)
- Suppress Sale Price from Portals (where supported) - This is very important, as this is the last time that we update the property on portals. Please ensure that you tick this tickbox if you do not want the sale price to display.
4. Once you have reviewed the above options, click on Yes/Continue
5. It will reconfirm that the property is now Unconditional, and you can proceed back to the property card or the financials
Additional information
Once the property has been set as unconditional, the visibility section will automatically remove the portal tickboxes, as this is the last property update that we will send to the portals you selected.
If you have listed the property as "Off Market," we provide the option to send it to the Sold section on certain portals at this point. This can be done by clicking on Publish as Sold on portals under the Visibility section of the property card.
Alternatively, this option is also available by selecting the Other tab > History > Publish.
If the sale of the property has fallen over, we also provide the option to reverse the property back to a listing status. This can be done by clicking Convert Back To Listing next to the property status.
Once converted, this will automatically update the portals you had selected to move the property from the Sold section back into the listing section.
