Use buyer match emails for new listings

A buyer match email is an excellent way to promote a new listing to your database, reaching all contacts with requirements that match the listing.

Create a buyer match email

Note: Before you use this function, you must ensure that you have set up a buyer match template within Designly.
  1. Search for a property and enter the new listing property card
  2. Click the Buyer Match tab

  3. Refine your buyer match criteria on the right-hand side
  4. Once refined, click Prepare Email

Note: Requirements are automatically selected to include contacts whose requirements have only been modified in the past 12 months. This can be changed at an account level to default as unselected, but it is not recommended from within Settings > Account Details.
  1. Select the buyer match template from the Use drop-down menu
Note: If no templates show in the Use template drop-down menu, you need to create a buyer match template in Desingly (eMarketing > Desingly). Once you have done this, you can select the template name from the drop-down menu.
  1. Choose your desired recipients

  2. Click Proceed to Send

This will populate the buyer match preview, where you can:

  • From - Select the sender
  • Timing - Use the check box to select Send Now or schedule the message to be sent later
  • Subject - Add the subject

  1. Once done, click Next (This will send the communication)
Note: Clicking Next will send the email. Ensure all your settings are correct before proceeding.

If you schedule a date and time to send the buyer match, you can view or remove (stop from sending) the buyer match email:

  1. Go to: eMarketing > Email Communicator
  2. Click the View Scheduled/Pending tab

  3. If you want to stop the email from sending, click Remove
  4. In the pop-up confirmation box, click Remove

Manage buyer match templates and reports

You can create a Follow-up Report or a Distribution List of the matched clients in the buyer match area.

To create a follow-up report:

  1. Enter the property card
  2. Click the Buyer Match tab

  3. Click Follow-up Report

This report contains the client's name, marketing contact, contact number(s), and buy/rent requirements.

  • Add Note - You can add a note to the contact using the Add Note button on the right-hand side
  • Print - You can print the report at the bottom of the page

To create a distribution list:

  1. Enter the property card
  2. Click the Buyer Match tab
  3. Click Create Distribution List

You can group all buyer-matched contacts for marketing or reporting purposes. You can create a new distribution list or add to an existing one. Once created, you can select this Distribution List when sending out bulk marketing or through Filter Contacts.

  1. Make your selections
  2. Click Create List

If it's a new distribution list, a pop-up will appear with options such as Send Bulk Email and Send Bulk SMS.
