About adding owners
Properties in MRI Vault require an owner to be attached for proper records. You can link an existing contact or create a new one. This also applies to landlords, purchasers, or tenants.
Before starting, ensure the property has been added first.
Add an owner
- Go to: The property profile
- Click the Owners tab
- Search for the contact in the list
- Select the contact to link them to the property
- If the contact does not exist, click Or Add New Contact
- Enter the required details and save
Tip: Adding accurate owner details helps maintain clean
records and improves reporting.
Once selected, the system will link the contact as the property owner.
Tip: Use the property snapshot to view all contacts linked
to the property.
