About advertising invoices in Xero
Before you can send advertising invoices to Xero, make sure the Xero integration is connected and configured in MRI Vault. This includes mapping staff, the Chart of Accounts, and enabling optional settings such as Integrate Payments.
MRI Vault lets you push advertising invoices to Xero and optionally sync payments or credits back to MRI Vault. This helps keep your marketing expenses aligned across both systems.
Send an advertising invoice to Xero
- Go to: The property profile, and generate an advertising invoice
- Select Send to Xero next to the invoice
- A success message confirms it’s added to the Xero Pending Queue
- Go to: Office Integrations > Xero > Pending Queue
- Select Send to Xero
- If Integrate Payments is enabled in Xero settings:
- Any partial/full payment or credit applied to the Xero advertising invoice automatically updates the corresponding Vault advertising invoice
Notes:
- Pushing an advertising invoice again creates a new invoice in Xero each time.
- MRI Vault cannot update an invoice previously pushed to Xero.
Manage payments and credits
If Integrate Payments is enabled in Xero settings:
- Any partial/full payment or credit applied to the Xero advertising invoice automatically updates the corresponding Vault invoice
