About processing Xero transactions
After you set up the Xero integration, MRI Vault creates transactions for sales invoices and payslip updates based on your configuration. These items appear in the Pending Queue and can be sent to Xero manually or automatically.
Send transactions from the Pending Queue
- Go to: Office Integrations > Xero > Pending Queue
- Review the list of transactions ready to send
- To ignore a transaction:
- Click Ignore
- Ignored items remain (greyed out) for 7 days and can be reinstated
- The ignored transactions tab stores 60 days of history
- When ready, click Send to Xero. A progress window shows real-time sync status.
- When complete, the queue displays a Completed message
- Review the Processing Log for details or open the exact data sent to Xero
Tip: If Automation is enabled, MRI Vault processes transactions every 5 minutes without manual action.
Review and troubleshoot in the Processing Log
- Go to: Office Integrations > Xero > Processing Log to see all processed transactions
- If you see an (!) icon:
- Click View for details
- Fix the issue in MRI Vault
- Click Send to Pending to move the item back to the Pending Queue for resending
Resend or manually raise a sales invoice
To re-push a sales invoice:
- Go to: Office Integrations > Xero > Processing Log
- Select Send to Pending
If the property is settled:
- Go to: The property profile
- Click the Other tab > History
- Click More (next to the settled lifecycle)
- Click Re-raise Xero Sales Invoice
If the property is not yet settled:
- Go to: The property profile
- Click the Financials tab
- Click Manually Raise Xero Invoice (also updates payslip data if configured)
