About precincts

The precinct module allows you to define specific geographic areas on a map that represent the regions your office services. Once a precinct is established, you can search for contacts or properties within that area and send targeted bulk messages. This tool is ideal for focused marketing campaigns and creating location-based reports on contacts and properties.

Edit a precinct

Once a precinct is created, it can be edited at any time.

1. Go to Properties > Precincts
2. Locate a precinct on the right of the map
   
3. Click Edit
4. You can make the following adjustments:

• Expand or contract the precinct's border
• Rename the precinct
• Change visibility
  

5. Click Save

Delete a precinct

If a precinct is no longer required, it can be deleted.

1. Go to Properties > Precincts
2. Locate a precinct on the right of the map
   
3. Click Delete
4. In the pop-up window, click Delete to confirm

Adjust a property not appearing in a precinct

If a property doesn’t appear in a precinct, its map location might be incorrect.

1. Go to: The property record
2. Click the Other tab > Map
3. Check the red pin location to see if it falls within a precinct
