This article covers:
Generate commission reports
The Pay Cycle Commission report enables you to generate statements showing a detailed breakdown of the agent's total commission, including any expenses or agent expense invoices applied. This commission statement is generated based on the commission structure assigned to the agent.
- Go to: Financials > Commissions
- Click the Pay Cycle Period Tab
- Select the desired date to populate all applicable commission reports for that pay cycle
- Click Refresh
This will then populate all commission reports that apply to the desired date selected, where you can view:
- Agent name
- Commission period (based on their structure)
- Status
- Quantity of settled or early released sales
- Click Open Commission Report to generate the statement
Note: A deleted staff member will still appear in the relevant commission report if commission is still owing.
When the commission statement is generated, it will include:
- Breakdown of commissions from settled or released sales
- Options to apply agent expense invoices and deductions
- Ability to lock the current pay cycle report
Note: Transactions appear based on the date the settlement button was clicked—not the defined settlement date—unless specified under Net Commission Structures. This ensures backdated transactions are not missed.
Important notes and requirements
- Agents will only appear in commission reports if their role type is set to Salesperson or Principal in User Management Settings
- For agents on sliding-scale commission structures or with retainers, ensure each report period is locked to carry over totals into the next cycle. You can unlock reports if changes are needed
- Use Lock All Statements to bulk lock commission reports
- Apply agent expense invoices and deductions directly within the report
- NZ clients can export commission reports to CSV for iPayroll or generic payroll formats.
