Learn how to configure agent commission profiles using fixed percentages, sliding scales, and base salaries for accurate settlement payouts.
Set up a commission structure for a user
A key part of managing commissions in MRI Vault is ensuring each agent has a correctly configured commission structure. This setup determines how commissions are calculated and reported during the settlement process.
- Go to: Settings > User Management
- Select the desired user
- Click the Commission Structure tab
- Click Add Commission Structure
The Net Commission Structure window will appear, where you can add the required details.

- Settlement Date: Based on the date entered
- Physical Settlement: Based on when the property is marked as settled
- Release Actioned (NZ only): Based on when the Release of Funds button is clicked
- Release Date (NZ only): Based on the selected release date
Note: (NZ only) If "Release of Funds" is not actioned after a property is marked unconditional, the system will default to using the physical settlement date.
