About office automation
Office Automation in MRI Vault automates routine tasks across your sales and leasing workflows. This includes automatic data entry, email notifications, and receipt handling. Automating these processes helps reduce manual work and ensures timely communication with clients and agents.
Access office automation settings
Before you begin, make sure you have the correct permissions.
- Go to Settings > Automation > Office Automation
- Choose whether to configure automation for Sales or Lease
- Apply your desired automation settings
- Click Save Settings to confirm your changes
Sales automation settings
Sales automation helps streamline enquiry handling, client communication, and agent notifications.
Available options:
Holding Area
This setting controls how enquiries are processed before they are entered into your database.
- If enabled - Enquiries skip the holding area and are added directly to your contacts
Canned responses
Automated email replies can be sent to enquiries.
- If enabled - Responses are sent immediately when an enquiry enters the holding area
- If disabled - Responses are sent after the enquiry is manually processed
Advertising/Deposit Receipts
Automatically email receipts to clients when payments are receipted.
- Sent by the staff member who processed the payment
- Applies to both advertising and trust modules
Deposit Received - Notifications
Notify listing agents when a deposit is receipted in the sales trust.
- Helps agents stay informed of transaction progress
Feedback - Entered Notifications
Notify listing agents when feedback is added to their listings.
- Only triggers if the feedback was entered by someone other than the listing agent.
Lease automation settings
Lease automation supports enquiry handling and agent notifications for rental listings.
Available options:
Holding Area

- If enabled - Enquiries bypass the holding area and are added directly to contacts
