Overview
Sold off‑market properties can be published to advertising portals through Vault, even if the property was never previously listed for sale.
To publish successfully:
- The property must be set up like a standard listing
- The correct workflow must be followed based on the listing status (Unconditional or Settled)
Add an unconditional sold off‑market listing
Use this method if the listing is not yet settled.
Before publishing, the property must be fully completed, just like an active listing.
To add an unconditional sold off-market listing:
- Open the property profile in Vault
- Enter all required listing details, including:
- Property description
- Sale price (you may include free‑form price text if needed)
- At least one photo
- Scroll to the Visibility section
- Select Publish as Sold to Portals
This option appears in place of the usual portal tick boxes.
- Save your changes to publish the listing
Publish a settled listing as sold
If the listing is already marked as Settled, follow one of the options below depending on your situation.
Option 1: Listing was settled without listing details
Use this option if the property details were not entered before settlement.
- Open the property profile
- Click the Other tab
- Select History
- Click Reverse Settled
- Update the listing to an Unconditional status
- Follow the steps in Add an Unconditional Sold Off‑Market Listing
- Scroll to the Visibility section
- Select Publish as Sold to Portals
Option 2: Listing details were entered before settlement
Use this option if the property details were already completed prior to settlement.
- Open the property profile
- Click the Other tab
- Select History
- Click Publish to send the listing to the portals as sold
