Use buyer match and bulk communication in the MRI Vault iOS app

About buyer matching and messaging

The MRI Vault iOS app allows you to conduct buyer matches and send bulk messages directly from your mobile device. This feature lets you quickly identify potential buyers for a property and contact them via SMS or email, without logging in to the web version.

Access buyer match from a property

Quickly find matching buyers for a property using your mobile device.

To perform a Buyer Match:

  1. Go to the Properties menu > Search for a property
  2. Tap on the property to open its details
  3. Select Buyer Match

The app will display all contacts whose buy/rent requirements match the property

  1. Tap Select in the top-right corner to highlight all contacts
  2. Choose Bulk SMS or Bulk Email depending on your preferred communication method
  3. Create your message or choose a pre-existing template.
  4. Once ready, tap Compose (SMS) or Send (email) to send your message
Note: If your message includes unsupported merge fields, the Compose button will be disabled. Remove these fields to enable sending.

Bulk SMS and bulk email options

Customise your message and choose how it's sent. When sending a buyer match message, you can tailor your communication using the following options:

  • Message Editor - Create your SMS or email content. Use Merge Fields to insert contact or property details automatically

  • Templates - Attach an existing template or preview it by tapping Tap to Preview. You can:
    • Remove it using the (X) icon
    • Edit a copy before sending
    • Save it as a new template for future use

  • Attach Files - Add files from the filing cabinet or the property’s Attach Files tab
  • Send Method - By default, messages are sent via your mobile device
  • (Optional) Toggle Send through MRI Vault CRM to send via MRI Vault

Note: SMS messages sent through MRI Vault may incur charges. When 'Send through MRI Vault CRM' is enabled, SMS charges apply to all messages sent through Vault, regardless of whether they are sent from the web app or the mobile app.
  • Previewing the Electronic Table - Share property details easily with a preview link

You can preview the property’s Electronic Table and copy the link using Copy Link. This allows you to share it via other messaging apps on your device.

  • Managing recipients - Control who receives your message
  • The app displays the number of matched recipients. Tap on a contact to:
    • Select or deselect phone numbers or email addresses
    • Include additional contact details if available
Note: Contacts who have unsubscribed will be automatically excluded.
Tip: If emails are sending from an unexpected address, check the phone’s default mail app. iPhones commonly use a personal email address if it’s set as the device default.
