We also provide the option to bulk SMS/TXT your database in addition to sending an SMS to a single contact.
To use the SMS/TXT function in Vault, you must ensure that the SMS/TXT Module Access is ticked in your user management settings.

Step by step
1. Go to: eMarketing > SMS/TXT Communicator
2. Select your desired contact categories or a contact distribution list that you would like to send your SMS/TXT to
3. You can select the below details of the SMS:
- Filter(s): - Filter your recipients via the marketing contact attached
- Precinct: - Filter your recipients via a specific precinct that has been created
- From: - Select the sender of the SMS (If sending via an Australian number and the recipient responds back to the SMS, this will go to the selected sender's defined contact number. For New Zealand numbers, any responses will populate via the SMS/TXT Replies widget. Learn how to set up this widget
- Timing: - If left blank, the system will send the SMS now. However, you do have the option to schedule it on a different date/time
- Template: - Select an existing SMS template to populate. Learn how to create SMS templates
- Message: - If not selecting a template, you can create your own message or edit your selected template prior to sending (templates are recommended for merge field accuracy)
- Include Unsubscribe from SMS link - You can include the option for the recipient to unsubscribe from future messages
Each SMS/TXT sent will incur a charge per SMS part (each part is 153 characters of text if the total message length is over 160 characters).
3. When you have completed your SMS and agreed to the charges, click Next
4. This will provide a summary confirmation, which you can review prior to clicking on Next to send
5. If you have scheduled the SMS/TXT to be sent at a later date/time, you can view the pending SMS/TXT via the View Pending tab. You can also use the Remove button to stop the pending message from being sent if required
You can also view pending SMS for an individual contact by going into their contact card > Other tab > Pending SMS

We provide the option to track all SMS/TXT sent via vault. This can be done via Reports > SMS/TXT Usage.
