Vault allows you to integrate directly with National Property Data. Below is a step-by-step guide on how to set up the integration and what data flows between Vault and National Property Data.
In order to set up this integration, you must first have an account with National Property Data. This integration can also only be set up on a per-user basis for the specific user logged in.

Step by step
Integration set-up process
1. Go into My Integrations > National Property Data
2. Click on Connect and follow the prompts
3. Once connected, the integration status will be set to Active
Your National Property Data Username remains visible once connected, in case it needs to be relayed to either party while troubleshooting.
How does the integration work once set up?
1. Auto-fill on Adding Listing/Appraisal
When adding a prospect or appraisal and the National Property Data integration is connected to the logged in user, there will be a “National Property Data Search“ box for you to search the property address.
Selecting an address will result in a popup, advising if you wish to pre-fill the data directly from NPD.
Upon clicking Continue, the property data is fetched and populated in the relevant fields of the prospect or appraisal, ready for you to review then Save/Update.
2. The ability to link an existing property to NPD
We also provide the ability to link an existing property in your database to NPD, allowing you to produce NPD reports against the property. This is done via the same process as above, when searching for a property within the National Property Data Search field on the property card.
Once a property is linked to NPD (either by prefilling on creation or supplementing an existing property) you can see it is linked with the NPD Property Key as per below:
If the property has been linked to the incorrect property data within NPD, you can simply click on Unlink as shown above.
3. Generate reports that save in the Filing Cabinet
By clicking the View button (In the National Property Data Search box) on a Linked property, or from the Property card via Other > National Property Data, you will find the National Property Data reports page.
Each of these links opens to the NPD system in a new tab already logged in as your authenticated user.
If NPD does not have any Current Market Information (CMI) data on the property in question the CMI reports are disabled.
- Property Profile - Opens in NPD with a range of information and options, this is one way for a user to see Owner Information
- Map Location - Loads the NPD Map (same that’s used in the Prospecting module) and with this property pin visible on the map and in the sidebar, exposing additional functionality
- All Other Reports - Opens the numerous reports in NPD, with this property preselected
Report PDF will directly save the report within the property's filing cabinet.
4. Prospecting tool data source
We also provide the ability to source data from NPD via the Prospecting tool (Properties > Prospecting).
When searching with a drawn polygon or circle (red box on left) an “Area Search Filter” popup will let the user fine-tune their search results if they wish, or just hit Search.
The NPD map will show all data points within the drawn area, both Property and Current Market Information data. The Search Type (orange box) contains the same options as other data providers, and once processed the Search Results (pink box at bottom) will refresh with our own filters based on the search type.
Users can view more information by clicking on a map pin or one of the coloured icons (purple box near the top of the map) to open the map sidebar - This has additional property information and direct links to other NPD features.
