About the find contact feature

The Find Contact feature allows you to quickly locate contacts in your MRI Vault database using flexible search criteria. You can search for individuals, companies, or suppliers and refine results for better accuracy.

Search for a contact

1. Go to: Contacts > Search
2. Select the search criteria based on the contacts you would like to populate
   
3. Click on Search

Your results will display all matching contacts, including name, company, email, phone number, marketing contact(s), and last update.

Available Search Criteria

You can define criteria across multiple fields to narrow your search:

• Contact Type - Person, Company, or Creditor/Supplier
• Name - First name, surname, or contact ID
• Company Name
• Contact Number or Email
• Residency - State set in the residency details under the address section
• Contact Catagory

Additional search options

Enhance your search using these options:

• Open contacts in a new window - Tick the checkbox to view details separately

• Include archived contacts - Tick the checkbox to include archived records in your results

  

Manage search results

Once your search is complete, you can:

• Set contacts per page - Choose 25, 50, or 100 from the drop-down menu
• Use the search bar - Quickly find a specific contact by name, company, or details
• View or edit details - Click Edit or select the contact name to open the contact card
