Within Vault, there is the ability to add a person and their partner to one contact card, with the possibility of multiple numbers and email addresses. However, there is also the functionality of adding partners, spouses, company directors etc as separate contacts and linking them through relationships. This is particularly useful with business partnerships whereby the client’s personal details differ and are exclusive of each other.

Step by step
1. Once a contact is added to the database, go to the Other tab > Relationships
2. This will then populate the Relationships screen, where you are able to search for an existing contact and define the relationship
3. Click on Save to apply the relationship once you have completed the above. This will then populate the relationship under Existing Relationships, where you are able to view their contact card, contact details or remove the relationship
4. You also have the option to view all relationships on the contact card via the contact snapshot
Additional information
We also provide the ability to view all property relations via the relationships screen. This will include all relationships the contact has had with properties, such as if they were the landlord, tenant, owner, purchaser or even inspected the property.
