The match properties function is a fantastic way to inform a contact of relevant properties that match their buy/rent requirements. In order to utilise this function, you will need to ensure that you have attached the buyer or tenant's correct requirements. Step by step
You will need to ensure that you have set up a Match Listings template within Designly prior to using this function. More information on this process can be found in the Guide to Designly knowledge article.
1. Navigate to an example contact
2. Click on the Match Properties tab
2. Based on the contact's buy/rent requirements attached, the system will then populate all properties that match. You are then able to select which properties to include within the match listing template
3. Once selected, click on Send Email (Using Template) in the bottom right-hand corner
4. This will then prompt you to select your desired Designly template. Click Proceed to Send once selected
5. You are then able to review the preview of the email and select the below details:
- To: - If multiple emails are attached to the contact, here you can specify who you are sending the match properties to
- Cc: - Select a user to Cc within the email or tick the Enter email address instead tickbox to update to a freeform field
- Bcc: - Select a user to Bcc within the email or tick the Enter email address instead tickbox to update to a freeform field
- From: - Select the sender of the email (if the recipient responds back to the email, this will go to the selected sender's email address)
- Timing:- The system will automatically tick to Send Now, however, you do have the option to untick to schedule it on a different date/time
- Subject: - Add your desired subject of the email
5. Once you have completed the above, you are then able to click on Next (this will send the communication)
Additional information
Once the email has been sent, it will automatically be recorded against the contact's notes, with the option to view the contents of the message.
Email activity can be tracked on an individual contact by clicking on the Other tab > Campaigns - More information on this function can be found in the Contact Record: Campaigns knowledge article.
We also provide the option to view pending emails via eMarketing > email Communicator > View Scheduled/Pending tab. Here you can also use the Remove button to stop the pending email from being sent if required.
Only available if the email was scheduled for a future date or time.
