The Attach Files, similar to the filing cabinet, allows you to store documents/files against a property. This differs from the filing cabinet as it stays with the property and is not specifically attached to the lifecycle of the property. These uploaded documents will also be sent to the various portals/websites should they accept these. Below is a step-by-step guide on how to upload/manage documents/files in the attached files for a property.
Step by step
1. Navigate to an example property
2. Click on the Attach Files tab
3. To upload a file, you can simply drag and drop the document/file or click into the cloud to upload
4. Once uploaded, you are then able to edit the document/file by clicking on the spanner symbol in the bottom right-hand corner
5. This will allow you to update the name of the file and set the access/share settings to a specific team, staff members or everyone in the office
6. You also have the option to click on the document to download or send via email
