Generate a trust report
MRI Vault provides several trust reports beyond the standard trust reconciliation. These reports help you analyse transactions, deposits, and balances in detail.
Before you start, ensure you have the correct permissions to access financials and trust reports.
- Go to Financials > Trust Reports (left-hand menu)
- Select the report you want to generate. Each report includes specific criteria fields to help you refine the data
- After generating the report, click Print in the top-right corner if you need a hard copy
Types of trust reports
Each report serves a different purpose. Here’s what you can do with them:
Banking Deposit Slip
Use this report to create a deposit slip for cash and cheque transactions added to the sales trust
Cash Book (Payments)
Generate a list of all disbursements or payments within the trust for a specific date range.
Filter options - By payee (Contact) or General Account.
Cash Book (Receipts)
Similar to the payments report, but for deposits or receipts.
Filter options - All Receipt Types or Cash/Cheque Only.
Deposits Due
View properties that have not yet received the full deposit amount.
Filter options - Property status or Deposits Due Only (zero or partial received balance).
Full Ledger
Produce a detailed list of all sales trust transactions by property ledger for a selected date range.
Includes - Total trust balance and balance brought forward.
Journals Report
Generate all journal entries added during trust reconciliation for a specific date range.
Trial Balance
View a breakdown of all transactions, including Debits, Credits, and Balances, from the start of the trust to a defined date.
Filter options - All Transactions or Only Advertising.
