VaultRE allows you to record specific dates in relation to a contact. By default, we provide the option to add a birthday and pipeline date, otherwise, you have the ability to add further contact related dates as shown via the Setup Date Fields knowledge article.
Step by step
1. Navigate into the desired contact
2. Click on the Dates tab
3. This will then open the Dates / Pipeline / Anniversaries window, where you can view all existing dates attached or click on Add in the top right-hand corner to add a new date
4. The Add/Edit Date window will then appear as per below, where you are able to add the required details:
- Type: - The date type you would like to add against the contact
- Date: - Apply the date against the selected date type (For a pipeline date, this would be the date to follow up on)
- Property: - This will allow you to link an attached property if the date type selected has been set up to be connected to a property
- Assigned: - This will be the user that is responsible for the date attached, can select another user if adding on their behalf
5. Once you have completed all required details, you can click on Save
6. This will then add in the date, which you can Edit on the right-hand side
Additional information
If a Pipeline date has been added, you are then able to view the upcoming two months of Pipeline dates via the pipeline widget. More information on widgets and your dashboard can be found via the Dashboard knowledge article
You can also use the Pipeline Report to track all pipeline dates added (Properties > Pipeline Report). More information on this report can be found via the Pipeline Report knowledge article.
If you need to create a list of all contacts with a specific date attached, this can be done via the Filter Contacts tool (Contacts > Filter Contacts). Here you have the option to refine your contact search by Date/Anniversaries, based on dates on, between, less than or greater than a specific date selected. We provide the option to apply a date-based trigger for contact-based dates. This can be set to automatically send an email, SMS, assign an action list or send an alert notification when the date has been reached.
