Adding Offer or Special Conditions against a property
The property status must be Conditional (Under Offer) status for offer conditions to be added.
1. Once the property has been made Unconditional (Under Offer), go into the Financials tab > Offer Conditions > Add Offer Condition
2. This will then populate the Add/Edit Offer Condition screen, where you can add the below offer condition details:
- Offer Condition: - Here you can select an existing offer condition or type in a new offer condition to add
- Due Date: - Here you can select the date on which the offer condition is due
- Assigned To: - Here you can assign who is responsible for the offer condition to be completed, this can be assigned to a team or a specific user - We also provide the option to (Tick) to Add the offer condition to the selected users to do list
If a team is assigned to an offer condition, you cannot tick to add the offer condition to the teams to do list.
3. Once you have added all the offer condition details, you can click Save
4. This will then add the offer condition against the property and will need to be completed before setting the property as unconditional
5. We also provide the option to add any special conditions against the property, by clicking on the Special Conditions button in the bottom right-hand corner - This will allow you to add a free-form text description of any special conditions outlined in the contract of sale
How to mark an Offer Condition as "Completed"
Once an offer condition has been added, we have the below options to mark the offer condition as completed:
1. If the option to (Tick) to Add the offer condition to the selected users to do list is selected, the user will have the offer condition populate in their to do list on the selected date
From here, the user is then able to view the property, offer condition or click on Set As Completed to mark the offer condition as "Completed"
2. If the offer condition has not been assigned to a user to do list, this can still be monitored via the offer conditions widgets, which will populate all upcoming offer conditions in the next 21 days
You can then click on the property address in the widget to navigate directly to the Offer Conditions tab of the property to manually toggle the condition as "completed"
More information on widgets and your dashboard can be found in the Dashboard knowledge article
3. We also provide the option to view and mark an offer condition as complete via the VaultRE mobile application. This can be done by following the steps provided via the IOS App - Basic Navigation knowledge article
How to add or remove an existing Offer Condition
We provide the option to directly add a new offer condition within the Offer Conditions tab of the property. However, should you like to add further offer conditions or remove existing offer conditions, this can be done by following the below steps:
1. Go into Housekeeping > Clean Offer Conditions
2. This will then populate all existing offer conditions, where you can Remove on the right-hand side, or you can click on Add Offer Condition to add further offer conditions if required
3. If you choose to Remove an offer condition, you will be required to re-assign it to another existing offer condition
