In the database, there will be existing contacts/owners. These existing contacts/owners can have a property added against them instead of creating a duplicate contact to attach to a property.
Step by step
1. Search for the contact using the universal search bar or via the Find Contact
2. Go into the contact card based on your search
3. Once in the contact, click on Options with the spanner icon > Select Attach Property
4. This will bring you to the Apprisal Wizard screen, where the Owner details will be prefilled based on the contact card.
5. Enter the property address details such as the type, address, and appraisal details (Should you have selected the type as Sale: Appraisal)
6. Set the Access settings for both View/Read and Edit Access - This can be ticked for Everyone should you have an open database, otherwise you can select individual staff members for a closed database
7. Once all property details have been added, you can click on Add Property to add against the existing contact/owner in the database
Please note: As you enter the address details, the system will automatically check for duplicate properties. You can then check and choose to attach the existing contact to the property via the Owner tab, to avoid adding in a duplicate.
Additional information
CoreLogic & Pricefinder Property Search
If you have set up the integration for Corelogic or Pricefinder, the property search will allow you to pull property data directly into the property card. This data includes the property type, address, particulars, and other relevant information.
This integration can be set up for individual users under My Integrations > Corlogic or PriceFinder.
Depending on which Types you select will determine what information/fields will populate for you to complete. This will vary to cater to the type of property you have selected and ensure you have the relevant fields available.
It is also important that you select the correct type, whether that be Residential, Commerical, Business, Rural, Holiday Rental, or Land, as this cannot be changed once the property has been added to your database.
