You will need to have a commercial-specific account or features enabled to use this feature.

Step by step
Adding a strata property
1. Navigate into Properties > Add Property
2. Ensure you have selected the class as Commercial and the title as Strata. The system will automatically set the status to 'Prospect/Not Currently Listed' because the main strata property cannot be appraised or listed. It is only used to store the individual strata lots.
If applying Pipeline - Expected Opportunity details, more information on this function can be found in the Adding a Pipeline (Expected Opportunity) & Pipeline knowledge article
3. Click Add Prospect
4. Add in the property details, including:
- Property Address
- Particulars
- Legal Details & Rates (If applicable)
- The Contact/Enquiry Staff Member(s) - You can have up to two staff members
- Who has access to this Property? - The user/s who can view/read the property and who has access to edit the property
7. Click on Save/Update to add the strata property to your database
8. Once added, click on the Owners tab on the property card to add a new contact or an existing contact as the owner of the strata property
As you enter property details, the system will automatically check for duplicates. You can review these potential matches and update the existing property card instead of creating a new one.
Adding strata property configurations
Once the main strata property has been added, we are now able to add the individual strata lots by following the below steps.
1. Navigate into the strata property
2. On the property, scroll down to Strata Properties
3. Once here we have the below options:
- Add New Strata Property - This will allow you to create a property to link to the strata property
- Link Existing Record as Configuration - This will allow you to search for an existing property to link to the strata property
4. When a property record has been created or linked, we will then be able to see the individual strata properties as shown below. This includes the below options:
- View - Click to view and manage the property
- Unlink - Removes the property as a strata property (Note: This will not delete the property)
5. When viewing a linked property, you'll see the individual strata properties, with the current one highlighted. You’ll also have the same options as before, plus the ability to directly view the Building/Site
Additional information
Strata properties will also populate within the Stack Plan - More information on the Stack Plan feature can be found in the Stack Plan (Commercial) knowledge article.
You can add multiple owners to the strata property. To add more, click the Options button in the owner tab > Attach Another Owner. You can either attach an existing contact or create a new one.
Switch between owner contact cards using the drop-down in the top-right corner. To remove an owner, click the Options button and select Unlink from Property.
CoreLogic, National Property Data & Pricefinder Search
If you have set up the integration for NPD (National Property Data), Corelogic, or Pricefinder, the property search will allow you to pull property data directly into the property card. This data includes the property type, address, particulars, and other relevant information.
This integration can be set up for individual users under My Integrations > Corelogic, National Property Data, or PriceFinder. More information on these integrations can be found via Integrations.
